About Mark Adams, DC
Mark has lived in the Rogue Valley since 1983, after moving here from the Mt. Shasta area. Mark and his wife Leslie were married in 1990 at his family’s ranch, and have raised two boys in Ashland.
Community involvement is an important part of living in Ashland, and Mark has been active in the schools where his sons were enrolled, in Little League and other civic organizations.
Mark found his volunteer “home” in 2009 with the Ashland Food Project, and has been involved with it from nearly the beginning of the organization. He is a food donor, a Neighborhood Coordinator, and a member of the Steering Committee. In 2015 he stepped down as the Steering Committee Chair, to focus on a National Organization called the Neighborhood Food Project, which was created to spread the Food Project Model to other communities across the country.
Mark graduated with honors from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. Palmer has an international reputation as one of the best colleges in the world. While earning his Doctorate degree, he also studied many other techniques, spending much of his spare time learning the Nimmo Receptor Tonus Trigger Point Technique, which he uses daily in his practice.
As well as the “Palmer Package” adjusting techniques, Dr. Adams is certified in Level 1 Cranio-sacral Technique, Network Chiropractic, B.E.S.T. Technique, Activator, and has studied under Donna Eden. He has synthesized the parts of these techniques which work best for his style and temperament.
